International Favourites:
O2 launched the “International Favourites” bolt-on last week to target the UK's £1.4 billion international calling market. Aimed at those who have friends and relatives abroad and regularly make international calls, O2 claims that when it launches the new add-on in late October 2010, International Favourites is one of the best deals in the offer of six million people regularly call abroad. O2 new offering is targeted at people from the UK rather than the people who want to take their handset on holiday. There is also a version for £20 a month on this bolt.
3,000 Minutes of Calls: With this bolt on, the customer can choose from 5 international numbers, which can be up to 3,000 minutes of calls to landlines and 200 minutes of calls to mobile phones. O2 has described the market's international phone card as 'a type of dirty', and filled with lots of hidden and costly catches. O2's International Favourites add-on was developed after the acquisition of mobile VoIP company Jajah earlier in 2010 - calls made to the relevant mobile VoIP. Cheap International Calls: O2's new agreement is aimed at people who do not want to put a new SIM in their phone for cheap international calls, and do not want to be tied to their PC or to make or receive calls. Simple and easy way to call abroad for the United Kingdom around the world is through dialling access numbers. Consumers can easily add access to their mobile phone and can make unlimited calls to overseas with high-quality of voice. |
