T-Mobile’s International Weekends is the latest offer launched by T-Mobile which could make international calling cheaper for its pay as you go customers. New price plans unveiled last week that pay as you go customers with T-Mobile will be able to make cheaper abroad calls. Users who top up £10 between Monday and Friday gets another £10 credit free that can be used to call and text any country, starting at 5p per minute to international landlines and 15p per text. Lysa Hardy, vice president of T-Mobile Propositions, Everything Everywhere said, "Our new offer makes it much easier for our pay as you go customers to keep in touch with family or friends who are abroad. For just £10 top up, you’ll get up to 200 international minutes to enjoy at the weekend.” Roaming Charges Hit The Deadlines: The most-called countries from the UK include Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, and Ghana, according to T-Mobile. Mark Bridge, a mobile phone expert who makes weekly podcasts about the industry at The Fonecast said, “It’s usually ‘roaming charges’ using your phone abroad that hit the headlines, so it’s good to see low-cost international calls calling abroad from your home country making news for a change." The new T-Mobile International Weekends offer is very strong but of course, as the name suggests, the free calls are not available Monday to Friday.
