Low-Cost Phone LG has launched a new low-cost budget smartphone targeting the UK market. Appearing first at CeBit, the budget phone has been officially announced and is likely to arrive at the UK market in April 2010. The handset is a basic model featuring a 3-inch touch-screen WQVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera and FM radio. The handset also sports with social networking features such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter integration and comes with a large and user-friendly UI. Different Colours The new phone will cost around £100 and will be available in the market in 10 different colours. Tagged at a smart opening price and with all other important features, the phone is expected to grab customer's attention as it did two years back when the LG Cookie was launched. However, the smartphone has no 3G access or Wi-Fi connectivity, which may prove to be a major drawback for the budget phone. Make Cheap International Calls Consumers may want to consider making cheap international calls with their new low-cost budget smartphone or landlines. As making international calls is also a hassle free process. Simply add the access number and the country code and make desired calls at your convenient time. |
