The Tories have promised to roll out superfast 100Mbps broadband across most of the UK, if they win the general election. The Tories has also said that it would provide broadband services that would be around 50 times faster, to improve accountability on public spending and encourage technology entrepreneurs. Shadow culture secretary Jeremy Hunt said the ambition is to ensure that the next gener Mr. Hunt told Sky News "We would like the majority of the population to have access to superfast broadband by the end of the next parliament. One of the first things a new Tory government would do is to pass a bill opening up national infrastructure to small and medium enterprises (SMEs)." Superfast Network He added "We want SMEs to contribute to the building of this superfast network. They would have access to BT's telegraph poles, pipes and ducts, as well as any other pipes where broadband cables could be laid." The Conservatives said superfast 100mbps (megabits per second) broadband would be extended across "most of the population." However, consumers can make cheap international calls at their convient time as it is very much easy and hassle free way of making international calls. |
