BT Increases Installation Cost For Phone Line

Pay £50 for Phone Line Installation:

BT, the UK’s biggest home phone supplier, has increased the price it charges for phone line installation to £127.99. BT said, "New customers taking a calls and broadband bundled deal would only have to pay £50 for phone line installation, or £0 if they choose a triple-play bundle with phone, broadband and TV."

Most Expensive Supplier for Landline Installation:

The home phone giant underlined that the £127.99 installation connection charge only applies in some cases and most of new customers find they do not have to pay this charge. Simon Piper, a business development manager,said, “BT is the UK’s most expensive supplier for landline installation, so it’s worth considering the other options available - you may find a cheaper deal from another home phone supplier.” Piper further said, “If you need to get a phone line installed or reconnected, read our guide on how to get a new landline, and see if you can save some money on the installation.”

Make Cheap International Calls:

Consumers may want to consider making cheap international calls with  mobile phones or landlines. As making international calls is also a hassle free process. Simply add the access number and the country code and make desired calls at your convenient time.
