Virgin Launches New Pay Monthly Schemes in UK

Virgin Media has launched a new range of pay monthly schemes offering to PAYG and SIM Only mobile from April 2010. According to this scheme, the existing Virgin customers will be offered exclusive tariffs for a discount of GBP 5 per month on buying home phone, home broadband or TV.

Executive Director at Virgin Media, Graeme Oxby, said: “The new mobile tariffs have been launched for the next phase of the operator's quad-play strategy.” The new monthly tariffs will be offered with free phones from monthly GBP 10 onwards, available on 18-month and 24-month deals.

For its SIM Only tariffs, a flexible 30 day rolling contract will be offered at a minimum cost of GBP 10 per month for 200 minutes and unlimited texts and a maximum up to GBP 20 per month for 800 minutes and unlimited texts.

Consumers of Virgin Media will enjoy a new simple 8p tariff for calling UK landlines or mobiles at GBP 0.08 per minute and GBP 0.08 per text to UK mobiles.

50 Free Minutes

The exclusive offer also includes 50 free minutes a month offer to other Virgin Mobile users having usage credit. It will charge a GBP 0.16 per minute or text on international calls and texts. The detailed information on tariffs for the latest Pay Monthly, SIM Only and PAYG plans will be available online from April onwards.
