TalkTalk Announces Price Hike:
TalkTalk has announced to increase its call charges once again including landline rental, daytime calls, international calls and other call tariffs. The price rise will be effective from 1st of October this year following a similar hike in the cost of the monthly line rental announced by BT last month. The new rates means the Internet and phone network provider will increase its line rental by 5%, rising from £11.49 to £12.04 a month, whereas daytime calls will rise from 5.8p to 6.4p per minute. Customers seeking new landline connection from the phone operator have to pay £49.99 in stead of its earlier charge of £29.99. International Call Charges: TalkTalk is likely to increase its standard international call rates also and the late payment charges too will increase from £7.50 to £10. Charges for Talk Talk's Mobile Extra customers, who pay a monthly fee to reduce all calls to mobile phones, will also increase from 45p to £1.46. TalkTalk communications director, Mark Schmid said in a statement,” The reason behind the price hike — the second since June 2010 — is to "ensure that we're providing best value, but doing it at a price that's right for our business. Obviously we don't like raising prices but from time to time we need to do it". Making Cheap International Calls From The UK: Making international calls is now so easy but many people are still struggling to find out the best service provider. As of now consumers can simply add an access number in their mobile phones or in landlines and can make unlimited cheap international calls having good quality of voice. Simply add the access number and the country code and make desired calls at your convenient time. |
